Three traditions, one place of devotion.

Akurdi is linked with Morya Gosavi’s Ganesh devotion. Shakti is worshipped at Tuljai’s temple, while the area also carries memories of Warkari tradition.

Local accounts connect the Ashadhi Wari tradition of Sant Tukaram Maharaj with darshan at Tuljabhavani, followed by a halt at Akurdi’s Shri Vitthal-Rukmini temple.
